Poetry, my infatuation, may be written to depict any facet of life, and writing it impels me to slow down and take a profound view of living: its beauty, struggles, tragedies, joys, passions, and challenges. I write poetry because of confidence I have been distinctively equipped by God to do so.
Poetry is celestial—sunny blue skies and alternately dark clouds veiling silver linings. Bearing wisdom, poetry is a depiction of all life enfolded with vicissitudes.

"POETRY IS MANIFESTED IN QUIETUDE AND SKILLFUL VERSE ORDERLY SPILLED FROM A CARING HEART"

Poem of the Month

Where Might I Go,

Locations I have not not been

Touchable places or any the mind attends

New York's nice, but often I journeyed there

Likewise the nation's Capitol, its vast fanfare

Maybe the Arctic, Africa, Asia, an alien estate

Australia, or untried flee in the United States

Aged and sapient, terra firma may be a bore

Powerless to match the mind's talent to tour

Mid mindset's free acumen I go where I want

Conveyance on extravagant, exquisite hunts

Where might I go, surroundings unforeseen

Retreat beyond humdrum global scenes

With pliable hand, fictional and poetic pen

Getaways ascend, novel escapes never end
